The Agency Workers Regulations 2010 will come into force in England, Scotland and Wales on 1 October 2011.

It is imperative that hirers:

  1. understand the Regulations;

  2. assess the impact the Regulations will have on their business;

  3. start to work closely with their agencies to minimise the costs and limit the potential disruption the implementation of the
  Regulations may cause to their business; and

  4. put effective systems in place to adhere to the Regulations.

Working closely with the industry lead body, the REC, Mainline has published 2 documents to help hirers understand the new legislation, and together with mainline adapt for a smooth transition.
